Lisa and I shoot everything together! So when you book us for a family or senior session, you always get us both! This allows us to shoot from different angles and distances to capture the mood from multiple perspectives. We find we often capture photos within a second or less of each other. We do this quite often at weddings when we are on opposite sides of a room. Somehow, we capture the exact same moments at almost the exact same time.

This family session with the Wentworth’s was a lot of fun! These will give you a small glimpse into the different angles we capture during any session.

One of the reasons we became photographers many years ago was that we absolutely enjoyed capturing emotions in our subjects! At the same time, both Lisa and I hated our own pictures taken! Soooo, in keeping with the I don’t like my own picture taken theme, here is my self portrait. Taken at the Adler Planetarium in Chicago.

Bryan wanted a portrait that portrayed his artistic and writing passion. Something a bit different and poignant for a book jacket. Something that could stare into our souls. This was his favorite from the session.
